Our New Website

web site design Our New Website

We hope you like Gulf WebDev’s new streamlined website! It is satisfying to see all of our hard work pay off. The new site serves as a good example of the kind of “web 2.0″ product we are developing these days. I was really inspired by a book I recently read named Save the Pixel – The Art of Simple Web Design. It really hammers home some concepts we are already familiar with like “Enough, and no more” and “Keep it simple stupid!”. The idea of a design should be to keep your audience focused on a few key elements of the website. Have a goal in mind.

Well, the primary goal of the new GulfWebDev.com is to showcase our work. Therefore, our latest web design creations are taking center stage. I am excited about a few of the new projects we are working on and I look forward to growing our showcase. We finally have the perfect vessel with which to show off a little.

A secondary goal moving forward is going to be testimonials. This is something I never gave much thought to in the past. However, I joined BNI (Business Network International) a little over three months ago and among many of the things I have learned through the group is the power of testimonials. There is something extremely satisfying about receiving a heartfelt testimonial. The more I get them, the more I want to collect them. I have found myself reading other people’s testimonials and I look forward to posting mine here for others to read.

Lastly, I am going to take the plunge into the so-called “blogosphere”. Being a self proclaimed expert on Internet and Technology, I would like to share some of this ill-gotten knowledge with not only my client base, but the general public at large. I look forward to sharing my insights into which browser you should be using, the best websites you have never heard of, and strategies for Internet marketing.

In summary, even though the website has been simplified there are plenty of reasons to come back and visit.
